Capsicana true to its Latin roots really packs a punch, and it’s growing popularity made it an ideal contender for CG’s range alignment and colour management expertise to expand shelf presence and brand cohesion. The team embraced our ideas to refine their production ways of working by implementing a rigid process for artwork creation, colour management and proofing and introducing consistency across all their different print partners.

Setting an internal print standard

The first step for our collaborative partnership was to complete an internal production review to establish how Certified Graphics could add value and create efficiencies for the Capsicana brand. The output was to create a plan and critical path of improvements that in the long term would improve effectiveness throughout the whole process and increase brand standards - ultimately setting the brand up for its growth ambitions. Our leadership role and implementation of a print management system created a process that everyone could follow - defining roles, milestones, and management for approvals.

Increased success & brand acquisition

Success in implementing a rigid production process alongside our print management expertise has created a beneficial and efficient partnership that delivers consistency across all packs. Leading the relationship and providing pack artworks correct to the printers’ specifications alongside colour targets and on press sign off, has given the team confidence that their brand is looking its best on shelf. Since working with Capsicana their range has grown in size threefold, and packs are noticeably more dominant on shelf, resulting in greater brand presence and increased sales. This growth has also been recognised externally and the brand has recently been acquired by AB World Foods.
